This barn is a lovely place to stay with all the equipment you could need.The pros:It is clean and comfortable. The beds and bedding are good quality.The sofas and chairs are comfortable.The bathrooms are great.The owners have thought of absolutely everything you’d need by way of equipment. There was nothing extra we needed.The sitting out areas at the front and back allow for birdwatching and peace and quiet.It is the nicest accommodation we have stayed in in the UK.I thoroughly recommend it when the weather is not too hot.The cons:The weather was extremely hot when we stayed for two weeks. Although fans had been provided, it became quite unbearable inside the barn in the daytime.At night, the upstairs bedroom was too hot to sleep in, despite opening windows and running fans.This was the only downside and couldn’t have been anticipated by the owners.The barn is painted black on the outside and I wonder whether if it was painted white and there were better window coverings (eg shutters) it might help make the property cooler in this increasingly hot weather we are having.The owners were friendly and although we didn’t need any assistance during our stay, we felt they would help if needed.

Fantastic accommodation. Set in a beautiful quiet area at the end of a lane. Weather was great so we spent a lot of time relaxing out the front listening to the birds tweeting and just fully relaxing. Easy access to Southampton, Salisbury and even the New Forest. Will definitely return

This was the second time we stayed at Dunley Barn. Again the best holiday home we have stayed in. Everything to a high standard and so clean. The owners are lovely people too. Would highly recommend staying here.
