If you are searching for fresh sea air, then the Dorset coastline is not just staggeringly beautiful and full of charming coves and miles of sandy beaches, but is also just half an hour’s drive form the lodge. There is also a plethora of great village inns to enjoy if you don’t fancy cooking and a very well regarded French restaurant if your stay coincides with a special occasion.     we got there to find the key not in the key holder when we located key and got in the lodge had not been cleaned and there was not any bedding ? towels ect we contacted the owner he arranged with the site manager for us to stay over night in another lodge so the lodge could be cleaned so we could not unpack until we got in the lodge after 4pm tuesday no compensation offered

    2nd time we stayed got last minute break. It was nice pub was open and ate there most nights. Shop isnt that well stocked, just the basics. All staff are very friendly

    Very nice cabin in a quiet location, nicely furnished and well equipped. So pleased we are returning in July
