2nd visit here ..if you want to unwind ..feelat one with nature but enjoy a beautiful vibrant city nearby then this is the place to come .Claire and Ian are wonderful hosts and have nailed every aspect of a cosy holiday cottage to the finest detail . First class in every respect but esp the wildlife in the garden which they encourage with planting and feeding . Salisbury is 15 mins away Stonehenge and Glastonbury easily reached . Then come home to comfy beds a kitchen well equipped and settle down with a cup of tea and just .....chill !!

This is our 3rd stay at Duck Cottage and it did not disappoint. The cottage is in a wonderful location surrounded by an abundance of wildlife and in an ideal location to explore everything Wiltshire, Hampshire and Dorset have to offer. Claire is a wonderful host, she is unobtrusive but takes an interest in the wildlife we see in her garden and the chalk stream. We’ve been lucky during our visits to see otters, kingfishers, herons, deer, owls and a wide range of smaller birds without having to venture away from the cottage. We would highly recommend Duck Cottage for a truly relaxing break.
