Good parking, quite secure front garden, peaceful location, farm birds and animals to see. Nice owners next door. Chippenham, Bath, Castle Coombe, Malmesbury Abbey, Portishead & Clevedon (on Severn Estuary) all recommended, and we enjoyed evening meals at four good pubs within a few miles of the Byre.

The owners were very friendly and helpful. The only thing I could see to make it better was the provision of a toaster!

Owners on hand for any queries, but not intrusive. It seems the cottage is a bit of a work in progress, and I'm sure it will be fantastic when completed. The kitchen is small, and, in my opinion, could do without the washing machine, which would free up space for a storage cupboard. BBQ utensils would be a bonus, too. We thoroughly enjoyed our week long stay. Great to see all the animals in the area, too!
