Set near the owners’ home on their working farm, it lies within a short drive of the historic city of Bath. Walking through wild flowers meadows, the Avebury Stone Circle, Castle Combe (reputed to be England’s prettiest village), Lacock Abbey, Longleat Safari Park, Bradford-on-Avon’s many antique shops and Swindon’s steam museum and outlet shopping are just some of the area’s many delights. Shop 1 mile, pub serving food 0.25 miles.

Beautiful country cottage with loads of character, stunning views out of the windows, especially nice to look out over the farm in the mornings. Lovely fireplace and everything you could want for an authentic country retreat! Amanda is a great host too

A small cottage but suitable for a couple situated on a working farm. Small galley kitchen fine for preparing snacks but insufficient preparation room if you want to do major cooking. The property is all on one level but if like me, you have mobility issues, be aware that the bed is quite high. Super wood burner which was needed as we had very wet and windy weather. Good local gastropub but we also found excellent eating places for lunches as we explored village and churches in the area. Our hosts are on site and very helpful.
