Guests say

The Anchorage @ Nables Farm is a highly praised holiday cottage, celebrated for its spaciousness, high standard of decor, and comfortable furnishings. Guests have enjoyed the ample amenities, including a pool table and hot tub, and the property's peaceful farm setting. The owner's attentiveness and the provision of fresh eggs have been appreciated, contributing to a welcoming atmosphere ideal for family gatherings and group stays.

Guests consistently noted the property as spotlessly clean, with only a few minor observations regarding cleanliness that do not detract from the overall high standards maintained.

The property's location is frequently described as lovely, quiet, and ideal for walking, with easy access to local towns. The peaceful farm surroundings contribute to a relaxing stay.

Reviewers have found the property very comfortable, with special mentions of the comfortable beds and spacious rooms that accommodate large groups without feeling crowded.

The facilities, including the hot tub, pool table, and ample space, are well-received. Some minor maintenance issues and suggestions for additional kitchen utensils were mentioned, but overall, guests were very satisfied.

While guests have expressed gratitude for the fresh eggs provided by the owner, there is not enough information to assess the consistency of such gestures across all stays. Therefore, while these personal touches are mentioned and add to the experience, they are not guaranteed for every guest.

Plenty of space and bathrooms. The house was huge yet it was toasty warm and a plentiful supply of logs. The kids ( adults babies ) loved the pool table. It was a great rainy day option. Would highly recommend- if we stay again we'd hope for better weather

Would be great if there was some Anti Bacterial spray to wipe down kitchen worktops & a hand towel for the kitchen.. Also kitchen floor seemed slightly dirty, only noticed it as grandchildren were wearing g socks. Needs a thorough steam clean. Also not sure about all the toilets but certainly in the bedroom.we stayed in. Under the rim in the toilet basin was a bit yellow looking, needs a good scrub. Other than that it was a fabulous stay
