Guests say

The Horse Gin receives glowing praise for its beautifully restored interiors, spacious and well-equipped accommodation, and peaceful countryside setting. Guests consistently highlight the immaculate cleanliness, comfort, and thoughtful touches throughout the property. The hot tub and garden are popular features, and the hosts are frequently described as friendly and helpful. While amenities are a short drive away, the tranquil location and proximity to local attractions are appreciated. Minor issues, such as hot tub instructions and garden privacy, are mentioned but do not detract from overwhelmingly positive experiences.

Multiple reviews describe the property as spotlessly clean and immaculate, with no negative comments regarding cleanliness.

Guests appreciate the peaceful rural setting and easy access by car to local attractions, shops, and beaches. The only minor drawback noted is the lack of amenities within walking distance, especially for families with children.

The property is repeatedly described as spacious, comfortable, and homely, with special mention of large beds, soft towels, and a relaxing atmosphere.

Facilities such as the well-equipped kitchen, hot tub, laundry room, and garden are highly praised. Minor maintenance issues (e.g., door handles, hot tub instructions) are mentioned but do not significantly impact guest satisfaction.

Guests frequently mention thoughtful touches such as welcome packs, extra blankets, and helpful hosts. While some guests received gifts or extras, please note these are not guaranteed for every stay.
