The Horse Gin was an absolutely breathtaking home! It should be featured in a Beautiful Homes or Travel magazine! So impressed with the way the renovation of an old farm building was executed, keeping some really historic architectural details. The kitchen was well-equipped and there was lots of space for our 18-month-old to explore! The views from the grounds were beautifully pastoral.

What a fantastic place! Stayed here with my wife and two children and the setting is amazing. The house was immaculate, had everything we would initially need and was so spacious and bright. Hosts were so nice and helpful, popped round with some great local information and a nice welcoming chat! Its located close (within a 5 min drive) to shops big and small, along with paignton zoo and paignton front a few mins further. We loved it and would certainly recommend it!

Wonderful family holiday at the horse gin. Delightful house beautifully restored. Owners Brian and Lou were very friendly and helpful. (Thank you both ) We never drove more than about 4miles a day to get to all the attractions. Would highly recommend Paignton Zoo and the steam train from Paignton. You will not be able if you book this cottage .
