Our breathes were taken away with the stunning views & property, the welcome pack was a lovely touch. The lighting in the kitchen could do with being brighter over the cooker. The best place we have ever had a holiday. THANK YOU TO THE OWNERS!

My family and I have spent the past 10 years holidaying in Devon, and this was by far the most outstanding accommodation we have stayed in. The owner kindly phoned me a few days before the holiday and gave me additional information about the area and the house. When we arrived, very early in the morning, there was plenty of parking spaces on the road to leave our vehicles outside the house while we went off exploring the locality, prior to obtaining access to our holiday home. We were delighted with the house, as it was clean, comfortable, maintained to a good standard, with a well- stocked kitchen for self-catering, plenty of towels, toilet rolls and a welcome pack of bread, tea, milk etc. It met the needs of all three generations of our family, and my teenage daughters loved having their own area downstairs. The Quaywest water park has been a big hit with them for the past 3 years, and the beach at Goodrington is superb. We used the key provided to access the coastal path and walked to Brixham on our last day which was a pleasant experience. It took over an hour but there were lots of places for the pensioners to stop and rest! Brixham is very pretty with lots of gift shops and places to eat. We caught the ferry back to Paignton which was fun. There are a range of local takeaways, a post office and a convenience store 10 minutes walk away from the house, and buses run every 10 minutes into Paignton. One of my daughters went on the wildlife cruise with her Dad and grandad, with the hope of seeing seals, dolphins and other creatures, but they only saw a few herring gulls, pigeons and a peregrine falcon. Apparently only the captain of the boat spotted the seal, and it seemed to be more of a glorified ferry between Brixham. Paignton and Torquay! If you want wildlife, I would suggest you stay in the accommodation, and look out of the window. The views from the lounge and main bedroom are spectacular, and we watched boats, sea birds and even a group of dolphins circling the nearby rocks searching for food at dusk. Heaven in Devon!
