From here you can venture along Brixham Breakwater built to protect the harbour and affording a different but pleasing view of the town, before heading to Breakwater Beach, one of the cleanest beaches on the English Riviera and awarded Blue Flag status, as well as being popular with scuba divers for the rate seagrass beds, seahorses, fish and even shipwrecks! Great location. Cosy and warm which was wonderful for a December break.

It is just a very short walk from the harbour and the local restaurants - there's even a pub just along the row making it an excellent location to base in Brixham. Few things to be mindful of: there isn't parking at the cottage (I parked at the long stay behind the fish market which was fine), the area is hilly so be prepared for that and there was some commotion from some neighbours for a few nights but hope that's not regular. The owner was helpful and responsive, and had even left us cream tea to enjoy on arrival along with some bubbles

Set just up from the harbour it was a perfect place for a few days away. We will be back in the near future.
