Dating back to the 19th century and thoughtfully updated, it is a comfortable choice for family seaside holidays or relaxed breaks with friends in South Devon. Its location makes it easy to enjoy the town without planning every outing around the car. It feels homely without being fussy, with plenty of seaside character.

Inside, the sitting area feels warm and welcoming, with sofas gathered around a wood-burning stove for cooler evenings. The oak kitchen is well-equipped for everyday meals, from a quick breakfast before a boat trip to supper after a day on the beach. Upstairs, the main bedroom has a double bed, while the second bedroom can be set up as twins or as a king-size when arranged in advance. A family bathroom completes the accommodation, giving the cottage a practical layout for a small group.

There are two outside spaces to enjoy, including a raised rear deck for dining or evening drinks and a sunny patio at the front. Brixham’s harbour, cafés, independent shops and restaurants are around 10 minutes away on foot, placing you close to the heart of this lively fishing town. Pick up the South West Coast Path, join a boat trip, visit nearby beaches or swim at Shoalstone seawater pool. On-street parking can usually be found in the area, although it is not guaranteed, and the steps to the rear decking may not suit everyone.
