This gorgeous apartment resting right above Brixham Harbour, forms part of our luxury Maritime Suites collection. The perfect place for families to enjoy magical holidays on Devon’s south coast, it’s just a stroll from the area’s beaches, restaurants and walking routes, and has all the space and comfort you could ask for.

With a superb layout and gorgeous interior design, Mayflower occupies most of the building’s ground floor and is the largest of the Maritime Suites. It has its own front entrance and has been refurbished to an impeccable standard. The property boasts a plush master bedroom and large living area with sofa bed and TV. There’s also a dining area where meals can be enjoyed together, so for guests looking for a luxury holiday property where they can relax and unwind after glorious days spent exploring on the coast, it doesn’t get much better.

As with all the other suites within the collection, Mayflower’s fittings and features are top notch. The bathroom is positively palatial and includes a spacious walk-in shower, his and hers basins and demisting mirror. To the front of the apartment behind half-height plantation shutters, a gorgeous light-filled room offers guests a kitchen area. Though there isn’t a cooker, it’s equipped with an air-fryer, microwave, kettle, toaster and pod coffee machine so you can still whip up anything from continental breakfasts to tapas-style lunches and dinners.

Within metres of the harbour and seafront, The Maritime Suites really couldn’t be better positioned. All of Brixham’s fantastic eateries and independent shops lie within a short stroll of its front door, while beaches like Breakwater, Fishcombe Cove, Churston Cove and Broadsands are also within very easy reach. Nearby, the River Dart meanders between Kingswear and Dartmouth, offering stunning coastal walks and incredibly beautiful river views. Gateway to the South Hams, its pretty villages and wild beaches offer plenty to do while staying in the area including water sports, sailing, cycling and wild swimming.

*Mayflower accommodates a maximum of two adults and two children so is perfect for smaller families

Suites by Luxury Coastal collection - our suites all the comforts you’d expect from a Luxury Coastal stay; beautiful bedrooms, large bathrooms and excellent location. In Mayflower you won’t find a cooker or fully equipped kitchen however there is a microwave, air-fryer, toaster, kettle, coffee machine and fridge with ice box

Mayflower is located right to the front of the Maritime building on the ground floor. It is accessed via its own front door on King Street

The Bedroom

A spacious room that’s open plan with the lounge. The beautiful furnishings and décor nod to Brixham’s nautical heritage. The bed is a sumptuous king size with deep, luxurious mattress and high-quality cotton linens. Two bedside cabinets sit either side, with wall lamps, a built-in wardrobe, mirror and chest of drawers.

Lounge

A beautifully light and airy room with a big bay window and half-height plantation shutters. A wood-effect electric fireplace creates the focal point of the area. Furnished with a large three-seater sofa which converts to a double bed, a matching armchair and ottoman, and a wall-mounted Smart flat screen TV

The Dining Area

Open plan with the living area, this lovely space sits in an alcove and is furnished with a table and seating beneath a large bay window

Bathrooms

Stunning design with a contemporary feel featuring tiled flooring, twin basins, a pair of electric lit mirrors, large walk-in shower cubicle, shaver point, heated towel rail and WC

Kitchen

To the front of the apartment with big bay window and half height plantation shutters, this room offers guests a space to prepare light bites and refreshments. Equipped with a washing up sink, Ninja air fryer, microwave, small fridge (with ice box), kettle, toaster and Tassimo coffee machine with Costa pods, and a selection of mugs, glasses, crockery and cutlery.

Shared Facilities

You will find a shared utility room on the first floor of the building (accessed round the back of the building up Queens steps). Here there’s a washing machine, tumble dryer, iron and ironing board.

Whilst there is no designated parking for the suite, there are plenty of options in the surrounding areas. There is unrestricted parking in residential roads within a 10 minute walk, plus many car parks too.
