The stylish kitchen area is a pleasure to cook up a storm in, entertaining guests at the island bar as you go. Beautiful floor-to-ceiling patio doors in this open-plan living space flood the room with light and give you wonderful views out to the garden from the sofas.

Children will love the museum aboard the Golden Hind (1 mile by car; 0.5 miles on foot) as well as the rich history of Brixham at the Brixham Heritage Museum (1 mile). Shoalstone Seawater Pool (2 miles) is a must-visit if you’re here between May and September, while Dartmouth Heated Outdoor Pool (7 miles) is an option in July and August if the weather isn’t too warm. Further along the coast, Goodrington Sands (5 miles) and Paignton Beach (6.5 miles) are both brilliant choices for a day out.
