This newly refurbished cottage in the centre of Brixham will make a peaceful getaway for families. Situated just 1.5 miles away from the beach and town, you’ll be able to get around very easily by foot. Dog owners will also be pleased to know that one well-behaved four-legged friend is also welcome here.

This delightful three-storey coastal retreat features a spacious hallway where you can leave muddy boots after a day of exploring. Leading on from here is a kitchen/dining area, which has been lovingly furnished by the owners and is completed with a backdrop of whitewashed stone walls which adds a touch of traditional character. This room features a cosy wood burner, comfy sofas and a smart TV which is geared towards some relaxation time. On the first floor is a neutral-toned master bedroom with a sprinkling of pastel colours to provide a calming ambience as you snooze, while the second floor features the two other bedrooms: one fitted with twin beds for the little ones and the other with a tranquil king-size bed for two more adults. There is plenty to see and do in the surrounding area for all interests, but if you wish to go a little further afield and see more of what the region has to offer, then you could drive to the popular holiday resorts of Torquay (9 miles) and Paignton (7 miles).
