Apple Barn Cottage is a beautiful, two-bedroom property which has been completely renovated, and is contemporary in design and tastefully furnished throughout. The property is tucked away off the quaint and historic Knick Knack Lane in Brixham, set within walking distance of the town centre and the harbour. The perfect retreat for couples or a family of four.
The property is set over two levels, with the galley kitchen, cloakroom, living room and one of the bedrooms on the ground floor; This bedroom has a set of twin beds. The second bedroom, which has a kingsize bed, is on the first floor next to the main bathroom. The south-facing living room opens out onto a private, enclosed patio and turfed seating area with table and chairs.
Brixham is a lovely seaside town and is still one of the busiest working fishing harbours in the area. The harbour is full of little fishing boats and trawlers, and some of the best fish and chips can be enjoyed here. The town offers all the usual tourist shops along with many restaurants and coffee shops, and has a regular bus service which will be able to take you into Goodrington, Paignton and Torquay without having to use your car.
There is so much here for all the family to enjoy, including the water park at Goodrington and Paignton Zoo. There are also many other quieter days out such as Greenway Mansion, the home of Agatha Christie, or taking the steam train up to Buckfastleigh. There is a car and passenger ferry from Kingswear to Dartmouth, 1 mile away. Sailing, golf, fishing, horse riding and more can all be found in this wonderful part of Devon.

Such a lovely welcome, we had some home made scones left for us and a welcome note.The house has everything we needed and was very clean, warm and cosy. We loved it.The location is just 15 walk from Brixham Harbour and Dartmouth, Paignton, or Torquay are just a short drive away.Plenty or places to walk the dog if you have one.

A relaxing week spent in this lovely cottage. Private and secluded although very near the town (10-15 mins to Brixham Harbour). Near to the steam railway and national trust properties as well as beautiful beaches and walks.The cottage was clean and had everything we needed. Thank you to the very attentive owners who checked we were ok and provided delicious scones on arrival as well as bones for our little dog. Would definitely recommend this for a quiet relaxing holiday.

Lovely little property bang in the middle of Brixham and a 10 minute walk to Harbour/main shops etc. The cottage is well equipped and comfortable. We both slept very well, a good indication of a decent bed for us. Dartmouth/Paignton are about 6 miles away so plenty to do.Very much appreciated the scones, cream and jam on arrival plus milk. We would highly recommend this property.
