Really enjoyed our week away. The cottage has everything you need. The super king bed was so comfortable and the whole property was beautifully furnished. We took 3 small dogs with us and there was plenty of room. Dog bed and bowls was a lovely touch.

We had a lovely stay in Catford cottage. There are plenty of beautifull walks in the area! The cottage itself is really cosy and has everything what is needed. We stayed in the winter period, and downstairs was it a bit cold, but due to the wood fire it was easy to warm up and have a great stay.

There was a basket containing a bottle of Prosecco, mince pies and biscuits and a box of wood for each evening of our Christmas stay, both welcoming touches by the owners. The beds had extremely comfortable mattresses and pillows and although the shower wasn't very powerful, it was perfectly adequate. The one issue we had was the water in both the hot and cold taps throughout the cottage was brown and very unappetising, which did not improve with letting the taps run for a substantial period. Although the owners assured us the water was safe to drink, we would have taken bottled water to drink and cook with, had we known about this, and we couldn't purchase any until Boxing Day.
