Private parking for 3 cars. No smoking.. The Chapel at Weston Farm is a unique detached two bedroom stone house. Formerly the chapel for the entire Weston Farm, this characterful building dates back several centuries. The house is set on a working dairy farm amidst the rolling hills and stunning rural valleys of Somerset.
Once inside this eclectic property you will be welcomed by the effortless flow between the period characteristics and modern amenities. The beautiful slate floor is warmed by underfloor heating, and the rustic exposed walls, an original bread oven, wood burner and wooden beams all mix timelessly with the clean lines of contemporary design and use of space.
The Chapel has a large private garden. Just off the kitchen and main entrance of the house, there is a double sided patio which is partially covered by a veranda perfect for you to relax and enjoy a morning coffee or an evening drink in this most serene and tranquil setting.
The property is only five minutes from the market town centre of Chard, the birthplace of powered flight. There you will find shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants. Set in South Somerset, Chard is near to both the Devon and Dorset borders.

This cottage is outstanding. We had the most relaxing week and the cottage is super comfortable and extremely well equipped and made our stay fabulous, so much so we have booked to return in the autumn already. There are fabulous walks on the doorstep, a great farm shop and pub as little as a mile away. Our dog Minnie loved it too and like us seemed reluctant to leave. The weather was a bonus but the cottage is beautiful and cosy inside and in autumn we are looking forward to lighting the log burner to sample a different season in this beautiful little cottage in the most amazing peaceful farm setting.

We had a wonderful week at The Chapel. We had planned to do more walking in the area but the extremely hot weather prevented that because it was too hot for our dog so we spent more time at The Chapel than we had expected but we were not disappointed at all and were extremely comfortable there. The garden also was enclosed and very neat and tidy and was just perfect for our dog. We would highly recommend and we hope that one day we will return.
