Another wonderful stay at Orchard View. We have never stayed more than once at a holiday home for various reasons but wow we have found a place we want to return to. A friendly welcome from Jan, a scone, jam and cream welcome inside with milk in the fridge to make a wonderful afternoon tea start to the holiday after a long drive. The cottage is extremely well appointed and with both bedrooms ensuite with generous sized showers with great in shower storage and tv's in both bedrooms, it met our needs in many ways.So clean too, including the immaculate gardens for cottage and house alike. Generous parking. So peaceful and quiet, in a countryside location but not too far from "civilisation". It's also not too far to what Somerset counts as main roads to get you to the wonderful places in Somerset, Devon and Dorset. It was a fantastic location for us.Dog friendly (we don't have a dog), but there was no indication there had been any there.A lovely send off from Helen, standing in for Jan.I can't recommend this cottage highly enough and we are hoping to return to it for our next year's holiday.

Got back from a lovely holiday had a great warm welcome from Jan and derek . We were shown around the cottage Jan explained everything to us . Everything was perfect we had a different adventure everyday as the cottage was in easy reach of some beautiful coastal towns you do need a car to travel to shops as the cottage is rural but we loved the peace of the cottage . Jan left some scones and jam and clotted cream beautiful. We have been to some nice cottages on our travels but would definitely return to orchard view . We needed to charge our car up and Derek helped us using his electric at a small charge which really great . Thank you Jan and Derek for a great stay
