From the nature reserves on the Somerset Levels to the wide expanses of the Quantock Hills leading to the west Somerset coast, there are great outings for all. You could spend an afternoon fishing at the nearby Chard reservoir or visit Chard equestrian centre that is within walking distance. There is even a spa and golf course just a short drive away where you can buy a day pass to use many of the facilities.
