Strawberry Lodge in Cheddar is praised for its good facilities, welcoming host, and excellent location with easy access to local attractions and dog walks. Guests appreciate the spaciousness, helpfulness of the owner, and the property's potential for a pleasant stay. Some concerns over cleanliness and maintenance are noted, yet the overall experience is positive with recommendations and intentions to return.

Several guests mentioned issues with cleanliness, such as bird droppings outside and cobwebs around the windows. The interior could benefit from a thorough cleaning to enhance its appeal.

The location is frequently commended for its convenience to the Cheddar area, with plenty of places to visit and walks for dogs. It's also within walking distance to Cheddar, making it a central yet secluded spot.

The lodge is generally considered comfortable and spacious. One guest mentioned the provision of a rug for their dog, which greatly helped with the laminate flooring, indicating attention to comfort.

Guests are satisfied with the facilities, but some noted that the property could be more inviting with a fresh coat of paint and better maintenance. The provision of WiFi and parking is positively noted.

The lodge was a nice place it could have looked more inviting if it had a lick of paint inside looked a bit shabby. Out side was not to be desired as it was covered in bird poo and full of cobwebs. It wouldn’t take much to clean it. Otherwise it would be a lovely place.
