Whip up delicious treats in the well-equipped kitchen/diner, before settling down around the dining table to savour a tasty meal with loved ones and discuss plans for the days ahead. After a long day of exploring, enjoy a refreshing shower before popping on your pyjamas and choosing one of three well-presented bedrooms to catch your rest in, a second-floor king-size, a first floor king-size and a snug with a double sofa bed, each with their own TV, perfect for those leisurely Sunday mornings. Each bed is complete with high quality Egyptian cotton bedding and feather and duck down duvets. Outside, the garden is the jewel in the crown of this cottage. On the first deck of the beautiful garden you will find the claw foot bath tub with hot and cold running water. It is screened by plants and an artistic tree screen to allow some privacy. The vision was to give a romantic place for relaxing in hot bubbles beneath the stars after an energetic day exploring the Gorge and Somerset. The garden continues to offer a place to dine with a barbecue on offer. At the end of the garden is a summerhouse which is a perfect to relax and read a book. Take advantage of Bath Tub Cottages’ location, with a wander into the local village where you will find a good selection of pubs, restaurants and shops, including specialists cheese shops selling the famous Cheddar Cheese, Cheddar Crazy Golf which promises fun for all the family and the magnificent Cheddar Gorge and Caves, where you can soak up the amazing views and tour the hidden limestone caves. Take a short drive to the nearby city of Wells, where you will find the impressive 12th-century Wells Cathedral, the historic Vicar’s Chapel and Library, as well as the Wells & Mendip Museum where you can learn more about the local area and The Bishop’s Palace & Gardens, a remarkable 13th-century palace with vibrant landscaped gardens with well pools. If you can tear yourself away, head to Weston-Super-Mare where you can enjoy a fun-filled family day at the beach, whether that be building sandcastles, paddling the shores or sunbathing.
