This is one of our dog friendly lodges, offering a spacious, family friendly, open plan living area, it feels bright and fresh. Views over the retreat, the decking to the front of the lodge is an ideal spot for catching some rays and watching the world go by. The lodge sleeps four, the master bedroom has a king bed with a walk-through dressing area leading on to the ensuite. In the second bedroom there are two single beds. The open plan living area and kitchen area make the most of the views and is a great for sitting down to a meal together at the end of a busy day exploring before taking a relaxing dip in the hot tub.. Excellent in all categories. Very clean and comfortable. Dogs also had good outdoor area which was all fenced in.

Again, another spectacular lodge ! We were not disappointed, we booked 3 lodges and they were all completed to such a high standard, had everything you needed, felt comfortable, cosy and the mattresses were high quality enabling a comfortable nights sleep, great value for money and worth booking !

Friendly welcome, with a smooth handover, a lovely welcome hamper.Great sized lodge (fox run).The entire staff were friendly and helpful, and nothing was too much trouble, they wanted us to have a good stay. Well thought about facilities that were clean, in good working order, and all that you need for your stay.Hot tub was lovely, well maintained, they checked the levels every morning. Two towelling robes and towels were provided specifically for hot tub use, which was a lovely touch.Dogs made very welcome, they had treats, dog bowls, poo bags, and a comfort towel left for them, another really lovely touch. There is a very nice dog walk on site, poo bins along the way. Our lodge (as with others) was safe to have dogs off lead as it had a fenced in area.A walk into Cannington is easy.There is a lovely walled garden (small entry charge), it's bigger than you think!If you like a proper traditional local pub, visit the rose and crown, we went several times, they made us feel very welcome. It is cash only, and no food. We felt at home there.We will be back, thank you
