Despite its secluded position, the market town South Molton is only 5 miles away with its selection of independent shops and eateries. At the end of a busy day, head home for a spot of stargazing from your private hot tub.

Beautifully presented throughout, this lodge is bright and airy. As you enter the open-plan living area, you’ll notice how the light tones, floor-to-ceiling windows and vaulted ceiling add to the sense of space. Whether you’re reclining on the sofas, dining at the table or cooking in the well-equipped kitchen, you can all be together whilst appreciating the far-reaching views. There are two good-sized bedrooms. The double room has an en-suite shower room, whilst guests in the twin room can use the family bathroom. The outside terrace can be accessed via the patio doors and offers al fresco dining against a stunning backdrop. Round off your evenings with a relaxing dip in the sunken hot tub.

Keen walkers will be in their element here, with so many quiet footpaths to discover. If you fancy exploring a different landscape, head 11 miles north to the stunning moorland, babbling brooks and glorious tearooms of Exmoor National Park. Alternatively, you may fancy a saunter along the golden sand of Saunton Sands or Westward Ho! (25 miles) followed by a swim in the sea. If you are looking for a fun family day out, why not visit the Exmoor Beast and friends at Exmoor Zoo (17.5 miles).
