Despite being known as England s smallest city, there is plenty to delight visitors to Wells, not least the city s stunning cathedral. There is a good range of independent shops in the town, which make it a lovely place to spend an afternoon browsing and sampling the food in the local eateries, including the well regarded gastro pub which guests will find just 200 yards from the property s front door. Further afield, but still within easy reach, local attractions include Wookey Hole Caves, Cheddar Gorge, historic Glastonbury, and the discount shopping village at Street. Coming through the front door of this attractive period property, guests take one step down to enter the cosy lounge.
