The beautiful city of Wells, with its 12th century cathedral, the oldest medieval street in Europe and stunning architecture, will provide plenty to charm visitors. Also, marvel at the caves and a host of family attractions at Cheddar and Wookey Hole, or spend a day on the beaches at Burnham-on-Sea and Weston-super-Mare, which are less than half an hour's drive away from this family-friendly cottage near Wells. The village of Henton is situated between the Somerset levels and the Mendip Hills just 4 miles from the city of Wells. Wells has a 12th century cathedral as well as a market square offering an array of shops and restaurants.
