About this Holiday Cottage

Located at the foot of the famous Glastonbury Tor, The Old Stables Cottage is a single level cottage, brimming with character and perfect for a holiday in the Somerset countryside.

We provide a stylish and cosy base for couples and families of up to four with easy access to a range of beautiful country walk and cycles routes. The cottage is pet friendly, welcoming your four legged friends to join you on holiday.

Our self catering holiday cottage boasts access to a pretty shared garden, ample parking space, modern fitted facilities including under floor heating and state of the art entertainment equipment inclusive of internet access (hardwired only).

Inside

The Old Stables Cottage is set on a single level with open plan living space. The lounge diner is the hub of the house with comfortable  sofas, a Smart TV with Freeview channels, DVD player and hardwired internet access.

The kitchen is bright and well equipped with all standard appliances and utilities for self catering. Please note that there is no washer dryer.

Bedrooms / Bathrooms

There is a king size bed set in a semi private bedroom off of the living area. For additional guests, there is a double sofa bed in the lounge. There is a family bathroom with shower facilities.  

Other Things to Note

Bed linen and towels are provided on your arrival and all bills are included in the rental price of the property. We do not supply beach towels.

A cot, highchair and play pen are available at a small additional charge on request.

Small pets are welcome in this cottage at an additional fee of £25 per booking.

Around and About

The famous Glastonbury Tor can be seen from the cottage and is only a short walk from the front door. This iconic landmark is steeped in history with its 15th Century tower remains overlooking fantastic views towards the Somerset Levels, Wiltshire and Wales.

The area has a number of historic sites and buildings to explore including the Glastonbury Abbey and St Margret’s chapel.

A variety of attractions are easily accessible from the cottage (a short drive away) including:

Availability

The cottage is available at a minimum stay of 3 nights. Please contact us for availability for shorter breaks. Check in is available between 3pm and 6pm on the day or arrival and must be vacated by 10am on the day of departure.

Directions

1 mile from Glastonbury heading towards Shepton Mallet, after passing the first turn to Ashwell Lane the entrance can be found after a further 150 metres on the left.
