The Dairy has a well-fitted galley-style kitchen which adjoins the lounge where there are window seats and a cosy electric stove. On the first floor are two bedrooms, one of which has spectacular far-reaching rural views. To the front, the warm sun room enjoys magnificent, panoramic views over the Somerset Levels, whilst at the rear, at the top of 13 steep, original stone steps, you'll find a pretty patio garden. Nearby is a nature reserve, bridleway and a footpath which leads to the top of Cheddar Gorge; this world-famous site is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty that reveals many fascinating stories of our prehistoric ancestors and is an international centre for caving and rock climbing. Alternatively, just a short drive away, the ancient village of Cheddar with its famous caves and award winning cheese factory is ideal for exploring.

In the Mendip Hills aonb, Draycott has two pubs and a shop, this village is a base for exploring Somerset. There's plenty to do including a walk to the top of Cheddar Gorge with its caves, or see the attractions at Wookey Hole. A visit to the cathedral city of Wells is recommended, whilst further afield is the Weston-super-Mare and the Tor and Abbey at Glastonbury. With much to see and do you'll want to return.
