This lovely cottage provides a perfect base for a romantic, relaxing farm holiday in tranquil, rural surroundings and the property has been partially adapted to cater for those with limited mobility, having level access throughout. There is a well-equipped kitchen and a lovely sitting room, as well as a spacious, sunny conservatory with dining area and sitting area overlooking the garden and farmyard beyond. Sleep peacefully in the comfy king-size bed, with additional beds if required. Outside, there is a lovely enclosed patio area with furniture where you can sit and relax with a refreshing drink whilst planning your trips for the next day. From the cottage are lovely walks, and a visit to Shepton Mallet - the heart of the Mendip district, is not to be missed with its wonderful architecture and weekly market. There's also a variety of shops, pubs and eateries. Take a nostalgic steam train trip on the nearby East Somerset Railway, which operates from March to October, as well as offering regular 'Santa Specials' during the festive season. The Royal Bath and West Showground is only a short drive away and provides a great variety of regular events, from antiques and vintage vehicles to craft fairs, as well as the Royal Bath and West Show, which takes place at the end of each May. Alternatively, explore mystical Glastonbury, majestic Wells or regal Bath, all easily accessed from this charming cottage. The cottage offers guests a real farm experience with cows nearby regularly brought in to milk, and should you wish to discover more, the owner will be happy to show you around by arrangement.

The historic town of Shepton Mallet is a delightful mixture of 'old and new', with some wonderful old architecture and a weekly market, plus a variety of shops, pubs and eateries. Shepton Mallet is set in the Mendip foothills, and is at the geographical heart of the Mendip District. This is a beautiful landscape, with unique places to visit and activities for everyone.
