About Grovefield Manor

Offering sumptuous and flexible bijou accommodation at the entrance to Branksome Dene Chine, Grovefield Manor is a beautifully refurbished late Victorian residence ideally situated between Poole and Bournemouth.  A warm welcome is assured from new owners The Hankins Family.  Accommodation comprises 9 elegant, uniquely styled en-suite rooms or two self-catering cottages and an apartment if preferred.  Period elegance is combined with all modern comforts including complimentary WiFi throughout and plentiful onsite free parking.  

We also have a licensed bar and a stunning function room perfect for intimate weddings, seminars and training events. Residential and non-residential corporate events, and exclusive bookings tailored to your requirements are happily catered for.  Grovefield Manor has been welcoming visitors for over 60 years, and recent refurbishment retains all the period character of the residence which dates from 1895. The property is a mere 3 minute stroll from one of the best sandy beaches along the South Coast, and regular bus services to Bournemouth and Swanage are available directly adjacent to The Manor.

Accommodation is flexible to suit your requirements.  We have 9 elegant guest rooms each with their own unique style, luxuriously furnished and inclusive of modern en-suite facilities and a flat-screen TV.  Award-winning breakfasts are also included in your stay.

Two ground floor self-catering cottages are also available, both with two bedrooms and a cosy private garden with barbecue.  Or opt for our stylish apartment in the main house, inclusive of a microwave, fridge, dishwasher and a washing machine.  Self-catered guests can if they wish enjoy our award-winning breakfast in the dining room.  

Please note we do not have a 24 hour reception and our check in time is between 3pm and 11.30pm. Other times may be available by prior arrangement.

Function Room/ Corporate Events

Our in-house Function Room is the perfect relaxing space for Corporate events and meetings, seating up to 40 delegates and tastefully appointed in calming colours coffee and cream, with silk drapes and chandeliers.  A Top Table Catering service is available, along with inclusive use of our licensed bar.  Corporate events also have exclusive use of The Manor for the duration of their event.

Elegant Grovefield Manor offers easy access to Westbourne, Poole, Bournemouth and the Sandbanks.  Compton Acres and Branksome Dene Chine are just on our doorstep, and the wealth of attractions in Poole and Bournemouth including award-winning beaches and water sports are within easy reach.  Super trendy villages Westbourne and Canford Cliffs are conveniently close.  Both have a choice of World Cuisine restaurants.

Grovefield Manor is accessible by road or rail.  We're within two hours of London, and located just at the entrance to Branksome Dean Chine in Poole.  A bus stop is directly alongside The Manor where you can pick up regular bus services to Bournemouth, the Purbecks and Swanage.  The sandy beach is a 3 minute walk away, and a wide choice of bistro style restaurants, wine bars and stylish cafes are nearby.
