Inside, the open-plan living space is decorated with a contemporary style and all the appliances you could need to enjoy a peaceful self-catered stay, including a fully integrated kitchen, a dining area, and a sitting area with a Smart TV to unwind in front of after a day of walking. Two well-presented king-size bedrooms rest either side of the property, giving that extra bit of privacy; one bedroom is complete with an en-suite bathroom, while the other has patio doors to the garden and an en-suite shower room. In the warmer months, why not take your meals outside to dine in the last of the summer sun with a glass of wine. Completing the property is a paddock with a children's play area, ideal for keeping the little ones entertained throughout the day. When you can tear yourself away, take advantage of the abundance of walking opportunities in the area with a trip to Cheddar Gorge and Caves, or spend your days wandering the picture-perfect Mendip Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty for some unforgettable scenery. Slightly further afield you will reach the Wookey Hole Caves where you can join a guided tour, or stay above ground and take a stroll around The Bishop's Palace and Gardens. Heading in the opposite direction, animal lovers and children may want to explore the Animal Farm and Adventure Park, while those who savour the fresh sea air may want to venture to the coast and the idyllic town of Weston-super-Mare. The town is known for its golden sand beach, and there is even a golf course for the avid golfers in your group, as well as plenty of dining options. City dwellers can head further out to the cities of Bristol and Bath to do some shopping, sightseeing and yet more eating and drinking with the wealth of pubs, restaurants and cafés to choose from. The Stables is a gorgeous property in a superb location, perfect any time of year.

Churchill is a picturesque town surrounded by Somerset's countryside. Set on the western side of the Mendip Hills, an Area of Outstanding Beauty, this quaint town is replete with breathtaking hiking routes and thrilling cycle tracks. With a Post Office, local store, tea room, and pub, guests have all their requirements met. Dolebury Warren Iron Age Hill Fort and Reborrow Warren are on your doorstep, while Winscombe and Cheddar are nearby. Druid's Temple and Gorsey Bigbury Henge are popular with families, as is Puxton Park. Visit Gough Cave, Cheddar Gorge, Cheddar Lion Rock, and Lookout Tower before returning to your hotel.
