Morgan Lodge is praised for its tranquil and picturesque setting, with many guests enjoying the peaceful surroundings and the fishing lake. The lodge is described as clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, providing a relaxing stay. Some guests mention minor issues with cleanliness due to wildlife and check-in communication, but overall experiences are positive.
The lodge generally receives high marks for cleanliness, with guests noting it as spotless and well-maintained. Deductions are made for comments about goose droppings on the pathway, which affected the perfect score, but this seems an external issue rather than internal lodge cleanliness.
The location is frequently described as peaceful, beautiful, and convenient for local attractions. The setting by the fishing lake is a highlight for many. The presence of geese is noted, but it adds to the rural charm for some, despite minor complaints.
Guests find the lodge comfortable, with special mentions of the beds and the spaciousness. There are some remarks about a vibrating noise in the wind and a worn bed, but these are isolated comments amidst overall satisfaction with the comfort provided.
While guests are generally pleased with the facilities, there are mixed reviews regarding fishing and some mention of lacking amenities like BBQs and hot tubs. However, there isn't enough consistent detail to accurately score the maintenance aspect, leading to a null score.
The lodge owners are noted for their thoughtfulness, with mentions of a welcome pack and Christmas decorations. However, as gifts are not consistently referenced and their provision is not guaranteed, the score reflects this variability.

It says you can use own Netflix's but there's no smart TV so very limited to tv programs if like us your back on an evening due to kids. The main bed could do with being changed as it's very worn on one side but still comfortable. There was still crumbs on side by toaster and some on floor but wasn't a massive issue. It stated a welcome pack but we didn't have one and no information of anything around the local area. It could do with a few touch ups like the decking but again not a issue. The washer dryer was great and really useful, the view and quietness was amazing and loved watching the wild deer. We enjoyed walks around the lake. We would definitely come back again but I think for what you get the pricing is abit too high for other places we've stayed around the area that have been above expectations so maybe something to look at and even advertise elsewhere to get extra bookings so others don't miss out on this lovely find. Thankyou for having us we will be back
