Welcome to The Hollies, a wonderful one bedroom bungalow set in the village of Uphill, just outside Weston-Super-Mare and with Uphill beach just a few minutes walk away.
Inside this bright and airy bungalow, the kitchen is well equipped with a fridge/freezer, electric hob and oven, washing machine and microwave as well as a fabulous breakfast bar. The spacious living room has comfortable seating and Smart TV while the dining room has patio doors leading out to the conservatory. The large bedroom has a double bed, large wardrobes and picture window that looks out over the garden, the bathroom has a bath with a shower over and heated towel rail. Outside, the rear garden is fully enclosed and has a large lawn with seating areas to enjoy, your four legged family members will have great fun here!
Uphill has a wonderful year round dog friendly beach and local shop for essentials, while the hospital is nearby. Weston-Super-Mare is a traditional seaside town on the north Somerset Coastline, jam packed with fun things to do such as donkey rides on the beach, wander along the grand pier and enjoy the arcades, grab some fish and chips or enjoy one of the many bars and restaurants in the town centre or along the seafront, which also has many shops to explore. Why not jump on the train and head off to the bright lights of Bath or Bristol for a dose of city life for a day. The ancient medieval town of Glastonbury, with its wonderfully eclectic shops and famous Tor makes for a fabulous day out or bag yourself a bargain on a visit to Clarks Village in Street, with its many designer outlets to enjoy! Between the 24th and 26th of October 2025 the Weston Beach Race will be in full swing. As this is the UK biggest Off road Motorsport event, there may be some noise disruption during your stay with limited access to the beach.

The bungalow was spotless and lovely. It was very spacious. Communication with the owner was good, texting us to let us know there was a problem with the water supply and texting us again when things were back to normal. There was a blue folder which had very useful information eg the timing that the heating/hot water came on and how to override if necessary.It was a short walk to the beach and the local shop was very handy. The area was very quiet and peaceful so no disturbed nights.There is a good sized Tesco in the centre of Weston which wasn't far, only a matter of minutes.Finally a big thank you for the Welcome Pack. It was one of the best we have had. After a delay on the Avonmouth Bridge it was lovely to be able to have that all important cup of tea with a biscuit

The Hollies is comfortable and spacious, with a garden which is sunny and safe for the dog. The location is ideal, it's on a quiet street which is a short walk to the beach or Uphill nature reserve. It's close to two pubs and the café which are all dog friendly and serve excellent food. I would not hesitate to recommend this lovely bungalow.

Had a wonderful time at the Hollies. It ticks all the boxes, has everything you could need. Came back to celebrate my birthday. It’s the same distance for members of my family to travel & meet up to spend an afternoon together. The hosts are very friendly & helpful. Have already booked for next year. Highly recommend.
