Situated in a quiet and secluded spot, yet close to many amenities, October Cottage can be found in the very pretty Parish of Chalford which lies four miles south east of Stroud on the north side of the River Frome. Situated on the side of Chalford Hill, the cottage is approached via a steep narrow lane. In this part of Gloucestershire, the Cotswolds are cut by deep gorge-like valleys opening out westward into the Severn plain.

The village has a store where you can purchase fresh produce, the Lavender Bake House coffee shop, a Tesco Express and a fish and chip shop. There are many excellent pubs and restaurants in the area. The award winning Farmers Market at Stroud is on Saturdays.Ground Floor:

With wood burning stove, television and DVD player.

Shower Room

With walk-in shower, underfloor heating and WC.

Steep staircase to the first floor.

With a 5' double bed that can be converted into 2'6 singles on request.

Bedroom Two

With 4'6 single bed.

Outside:

Private, secluded garden (not fully enclosed) with patio area to the front of the property.

Parking for two vehicles.

Please be aware there is a gate with three steps leading down to the garden.

Additional Information:

One well-behaved dog welcome (small additional charge).

A small baby in own moses basket and children over fice years old are welcome.
