Berkeley is a superb holiday base, hosting a dramatic 12th-century castle, a selection of amenities and the fascinating Dr Jenner’s House, Museum and Garden. On the outskirts of the town is Cattle Country Adventure Farm Park, perfect for a fun-filled family day. Spend a day in the picturesque market town of Stroud, browsing the eclectic mix of shops selling everything from fossils to fairies and vintage to vinyl, or make your way to Cirencester, home to some fabulous amenities and widely considered the capital of the Cotswolds.
For walking enthusiasts, the magical Cotswold Way can be reached in just a short drive and offers miles of scenic walks, whilst those who prefer to explore on bike can cycle through the popular Pittville Park, largest ornamental park in Cheltenham. We had a great time as an extended family of 15 to celebrate my 60th birthday.House was amazing and the grandchildren loved the small sitting room as their hideaway!No blinds to block out light in 2 rooms on top floor was an issue resulting in early starts to the day. Also a few pint beer glasses would have been good. Otherwise, we cannot fault the accomodation: would definitely recommend

Excellent accommodation for our whole family and friends to enjoy a wonderful Christmas together.Each branch of the family had their own area with high standard en-suite facilities. Ground floor facilities allowed the whole family to take part in cooking, dining and relaxing. The kitchen facilities were excellent.The local area had a lot to offer, countryside and a short journey to local towns.
