We enjoyed our stay here and would stay again. We stayed 4 nights during the june 2026 heatwave. The cottage is on the edge of a lovely village, quiet , peaceful, friendly. Inside it's very much like a modern hotel suite- clean, bed beautifully made up, very neutral decor, good sized bathroom with a nice shower and bath, pocket kitchen (kettle, fridge but no ice box, air fryer , microwave). Outside is a patio with a table and chairs and gravel with space to park surrounded by clipped easy-care shrubs. It's perfectly nice in a low- frills way. There aren't any extras- it's not the sort of holiday cottage that is the owner's pride and joy - you won't find a home-baked treat , no milk in the fridge, no local art or books. There's a reminder not to nick the shampoo or put anything unsuitable down the loo but nothing to explain how to get hot water. So perfectly nice, not absolutely amazing.

The Cottage is beautiful, ideal for exploring surrounding area.Unfortunately it's let down by a lack of maintenance (door on shower door was broken, with a note tied to it says "don't shut door, maintenance team informed"Didn't have any contact from anyone when they were going to fix it, very difficult to have a shower, aware of water spill out onto floor , we bought food for the week to cook in the microwave, halfway through cooking on the first night it stopped working, we noticed when it rained heavy there was a damp patch down the wall where the microwave was positioned and wet around the sockets where the microwave was plugged into. We couldn't use the microwave anymore. We enjoyed our stay but it could have been made more enjoyable.

Bookef 3 nights but left after 2.. The heating was set at 17 and we were very cold. The windows don't close properly and as it was windy , the room was very cold from the draft. Did'nt like the cooking facilities either..Missed my toaster in the mornings.
