This cottage is in a great position for a walking group like us, with footpaths starting at the end drive. The cottage is a bit tired in places particularly the bathroom but all still functional. The bedroom curtains are light so perhaps bring a sleep mask if you are used to a darker bedroom. The owner phoned prior and was very helpful. We will return as it really worked for us. Being able to walk into Town at night without going on the road was another bonus

Cottage is ok and reasonably priced for what it is. Owners pride in his own luddism a little disapointing. Old TV did not work when we arrived with remote held together with plasters. Did not go there to watch TV but told owner i wanted to watch match on TV before we travelled down. Lackadaisical slightly arrogant half hearted response and attempt to resolve issue and look after his paying guests. Left a slightly bad taste.
