Enjoying a prime location on the edge of the Dorset AONB with close proximity to the local amenities and beautiful beaches, Sunny Haven is a fantastic dog-friendly choice for couples or a family of four. Leave your vehicle on the spacious driveway with room for three cars, before stepping into your new home from home. Look forward to cooking up a storm in the well-equipped kitchen/diner, ready to enjoy at the dining table for four over a celebratory bottle of fizz. After dinner, kick-back and relax in the living/dining room, featuring additional dining space, plush seating and a TV, perfect for film nights with loved ones. A well-appointed bathroom awaits with bath and separate walk-in shower so you can choose how best to prepare for the day ahead. There is also a separate cloakroom for your convenience. When sleep calls, retire to one of two beautifully decorated bedrooms, a double and a twin, both with a lovely outlook over the rear garden. Explore the local village, where you can dine at the welcoming eateries of Bridge Inn and The Spice Ship, pick up essentials from the well-stocked convenience store, or purchase your favourite bottle from Chalbury Food & Wine. Continue onto Weymouth, where you will find a wealth of gorgeous beaches with excellent watersports opportunities, as well as fantastic wildlife watching opportunities at RSPB Lodmoor and RSPB Radipole Lake, a sea life centre, bustling Pleasure Pier, and the impressive Victorian Nothe Fort and Gardens. From here, venture further to Dorchester, home to the National Trust site of Max Gate, former home of Thomas Hardy, as well as The Keep Military Museum, Roman Town House and Dorset Museum. Secure your stay at Sunny Haven for a memorable Dorset getaway.

Preston is a charming coastal village just a mile from Weymouth, a renowned seaside destination known for its wide variety of shops and excellent pubs. With gorgeous golden beaches, fantastic watersports facilities and a lively waterfront, Weymouth has something for everyone. Take a short drive to the island of Portland, a part of the stunning World Heritage Coast that is connected to the mainland by Chesil Beach and home to the National Sailing Academy. Explore the historical city of Dorchester, known for its Roman lanes, museums, and the ruins of Maiden Castle. Located close to Weymouth seafront and town, I would recommend this property to anyone thinking of booking it.

The property was very clean and well maintained. Excellent garden for our small dog. Great bus link to Town.

The tea and coffee packs on arrival were thoughtful. I'm not sure what a couple of previous reviews meant about the windows and bins. All windows had keys and could be opened easily & safely. Because bin day is Thurs there's going to be a bag of rubbish in the bin, same as you'll be leaving one yourself on a Friday or weekend check in. Overall a lovely holiday was had, especially appreciated the washing machine, dishwasher, jigsaws and books. Perhaps a few more children's books could be a nice addition?
