Resting just outside of the hustle and bustle of Weymouth in Dorset is this contemporary, three-storey holiday home, Sandpipers. With a off-road parking for 2 cars and within walking distance of the town centre, the property is an ideal base for a family holiday to the beautiful coast. On arrival, park up and step into your home-from-home to find a well-presented sitting room where you can kick off your shoes and sink into the sofa after your journey to watch the TV. From here, the kitchen/diner offers all you need to rustle up a delicious dinner for your group, and a handy dishwasher to help with the cleaning up while you continue chatting at the dining table. Climb the stairs to the first floor where two twin bedrooms, perfect for a flexible sleeping arrangement rest, along with a family bathroom where you can freshen up in the mornings. Up another flight of stairs is the master bedroom which is home to a double, four-poster bed and an en-suite shower room for that extra bit of privacy.

Outside, you can spend the warmer evenings soaking up the last of the sun with a glass of wine in hand in the enclosed garden, as you toast to a fantastic holiday.

A short walk will take you to the town centre, home to Weymouth’s with it’s golden sands and shallow waters, the perfect place to have a beach day. From the pavilion take the land train to the Sea Life centre, or walk along the esplanade with a local ice cream and see the beach huts at Greenhill; don’t forget to enjoy local fish and chips on the harbourside. If you are keen to explore further afield, the Isle of Portland has spectacular views, and the popular Portland Bill Lighthouse. A lovely day out can also be found at Chesil beach and the fascinating Tout Quarry Sculpture Park & Nature Reserve. Within easy reach is the iconic UNESCO site, Durdle Door, and the picture-perfect Lulworth Cove, must-see sights for tourists!

If you crave some hustle and bustle throughout your stay, you can venture into the county town of Dorchester to find plenty of shops, pubs and restaurants to enjoy. Sandpipers is the ideal holiday home for a fun-filled trip to Dorset.

The popular resort of Weymouth is an excellent year-round holiday destination, with a wide range of attractions to suit all tastes and ages. The glorious golden sandy beaches have excellent facilities for all types of watersports, and regular fishing trips can be taken from the picturesque, bustling harbour. Portland Harbour and the rugged "Isle" of Portland, linked to Weymouth by the dramatic Chesil Beach, are only a short drive away. Visit Dorchester, Thomas Hardy's "Casterbridge," which is only 7 miles away, or take a scenic coastal road trip and stop at Abbotsbury Swannery and Subtropical Gardens. Alternatively, simply drive down to West Bay and take in the breathtaking views of the Dorset Heritage Coastline!
