Dating back to 1860 and set over three floors, North Harbour House provides a delightful abode for a family of six and two dogs, perfectly positioned to take advantage of this popular resort. Step through the front door into the hallway, from which you can turn right into the comfortable lounge, complete with two sofas and a Smart TV, inviting you to settle down and catch up on your favourite shows. Move into the spacious dining room, leading through to the galley-style kitchen where the house chef can whip up something delicious whilst the dining space is set. A rear door leads out of the dining room to the enclosed, private courtyard, dominated by the central hot tub with seating around, perfect for relaxing in after a long day exploring the Jurassic coast. Move to the first floor, home to a generous king-size bedroom and the family bathroom with bath and shower over. Another flight of stairs leads to the king-size and twin, offering stunning elevated views to the harbour, along with neutral furnishings. Head out the door and down the road to the popular Boot Inn, where you can sample a selection of ales within a 14th century interior. The house was lovely and very clean. We enjoyed the hot tub. It was a great location and only a short walk to plenty of pubs and restaurants. I would definitely recommend this accommodation. Only thing I would say that could be improved is the size of the TV other than that cannot fault anything.

The living areas and the kitchen were perfect for the 2 of us. I think it would feel very crowded if there were 6 people staying there. The bathroom was great and the shower lovely although it did drain very slowly. We were there in a heatwave and it was really unfortunate that there was no outside area to enjoy the sun. This forced us to spend more time out without a break which was quite tiring. The hot tub was very relaxing in the evening. It was easy to find parking within a couple of minutes walk. Two very minor points; we found it odd that there was no frying pan and the front doorbell didnât work. We found that out when my wife took the dog for a walk. We would certainly visit again.
