The cottage is a part of a complex of three holiday cottages with individual pretty gardens surrounding them all. Mimosa cottage is a superb holiday home for disabled person and a carer being thoughtfully equipped and well laid out. It is of course also good for any able-bodied family or couple too.
Guests staying at Mimosa will benefit from the wheelchair friendly accommodation with comfortable spacious rooms all on one level, including an accessible wet room, conservatory and separate chill out room.
A patio area with tables and chairs is the ideal place to enjoy an alfresco lunch in the sunshine whilst surveying the wonderful views all around.
Surrounding Mimosa are delightful gardens for you to explore, pockets of lawn are interspersed with paths and fruit trees. You are more than welcome to help yourself to apples and pears when they ripen over the Summer.
Take a short walk across the field and you will reach the famous Chesil Beach. Admire thousands of wintering birds on the Fleet or spot a variety of Dorset wildlife through binoculars. If you are ready for more energetic activities, you can walk to the beautiful village of Abbotsbury which is situated just a few miles along the coast towards the Isle of Portland. Abbotsbury’s Abbey, St Catherine’s chapel, the Swan Sanctuary, Sub-tropical gardens and tea room will make a great day out for everyone in the party.
A little tea room is within walking distance from the cottage following the path across the field, ideal for some refreshment after a hearty walk. There is an organic farm shop nearby selling locally grown produce, with shops and supermarkets just a short drive away in Bridport.
Mimosa is the perfect location to relax and unwind off the beaten track to the sounds of birds rather than traffic.
Come and enjoy some time away from your hectic life at Mimosa cottage.

The hosts are very friendly and helpful. Some liquid soap by the sinks would have been useful. The shower needs some maintenance as the head leaks and is difficult to direct. Comfy beds. New appliances in the kitchen all in good working order. We would definitely stay again.

Lovely setting and the 3 cottages are within their own secluded areas. The bungalow was very comfortable and well equipped. The lounge and kitchen have had a recent refurb along with the bedrooms. We enjoyed walking down to the beach and exploring the local area. We walked to Abbotsbury via the Hill Fort. A beautiful village, and would recommend Cherries Tea Room. Also walked along Chesil Beach to Burton Bradstock and West Bay. The Manor House in the village wasn't open every evening but very friendly staff in the Cellar Bar. We hope to be back!
