Granary Cottage is the ideal hideaway for friends or couples looking to relax and enjoy a break near the coast in South Dorset. It is conveniently situated within easy reach of Weymouth with its famous sandy beach and the county town of Dorchester with its museums, cinemas, shops and restaurants. The village of Osmington is well located for excellent walks in all directions. Carved into the hillside near the village, is a figure of King George III on horseback, with the chalk figure showing the King riding his horse Adonis which was cut into the ground to commemorate the Royal visits to Weymouth and the prosperity they brought to the area.

The comfortable accommodation includes an attractive open-plan sitting area, with its separate dining area and kitchen all situated on the first floor of this historic thatched cottage. Downstairs is the sumptuous super-king size bedroom which easily converts to two single beds for friends sharing, with a free-standing copper bath, perfect for an indulgent soak; along with an en-suite shower room. Outside there is a pretty raised terrace with garden furniture which offers the perfect spot for enjoying morning coffee or an evening glass of wine.

Nearby Blue Flag Awarded Weymouth Beach and its large bay are certainly worth a visit and the place to enjoy a tasty fish and chip supper in one of the seafront or harbour side restaurants. When staying at Granary Cottage you will be spoilt for choice when looking for attractions and eateries in the wider area.
