Starting with the combined, lounge, kitchen, diner where you can cook dinner for all, yet still enjoy the time together discussing the day of adventures you have been on. The master bedroom is cosy. A compact bedroom two and a modern bathroom.
Located next to the gem that is The Nothe Gardens, with large open grassed areas, trees, and attractive walks stretching above the coast - perfect for a picnic or afternoon stroll. Newton's Cove a small shingle beach with rock pools perfect for exploring with nets and buckets which soon fill up with crabs and little fish is a two minute walk from the property. Just a short stroll down from the property is the attractive Brewers Quay area and Hope Square where you have a choice of dining opportunities, many with outside areas. Leading on from Hope Square is the pretty old harbour side. Here you can indulge in a white water ride or a gentler trip to Portland via different crafts. Crossing over the town bridge takes you to the town centre which has a good selection of well-known high street brands, quaint little lanes individual and quirky shops. This is where you will find the main beach of Weymouth, famous for its long golden sands and gentle shallow waters.
The ever popular resort of Weymouth makes an outstanding year-round holiday destination, with a wide variety of attractions on offer, appealing to all tastes and ages. The glorious golden sandy beach with its shallow waters provide excellent facilities for all kinds of watersports, whilst from the picturesque, bustling harbour you can take regular fishing trips. A short drive takes you to Portland Harbour, and the rugged “Isle” of Portland, linked to Weymouth by the dramatic Chesil Beach. Visit Dorchester, Thomas Hardy’s “Casterbridge”, only 7 miles away, or take a journey along the scenic coastal road and call in at Abbotsbury Swannery and Subtropical Gardens. Alternatively, just head down to West Bay - the views of the stunning Dorset Heritage Coastline are not to be missed!

The hairdryer on the wall was a good idea and actually near a mirror. Thank you. Our only suggestion would be for a grab handle on the wall to help with getting out of the bath for the slightly older visitor.

The welcome hamper was a lovely thought. The only minor thing is that in the double room duvets were stored on the top of the wardrobe and a big bag of towels on the bottom of the wardrobe. We could have utilised this space with our empty luggage bags but ended up storing them in the car and we could have put our shoes at the bottom of the wardrobe. As I said only a minor thing so we would definately stay here again and would recommend this place to others. A very relaxed enjoyable stay.
