About this property

This Victorian semi-detached property is ideally located in the seaside town of Weymouth. This comfortable property provides spacious accommodation for families for a centrally located base.

The property benefits from ample living space, with high ceilings and airy rooms. On the ground floor there is a comfortably equipped kitchen with separate dining room and bright living room.

A pretty crazy enclosed paved garden to the rear with garden furniture, the perfect place to enjoy an alfresco dinner at the end of the day.

Just a short walk down to Hope Square to enjoy the excellent array of restaurants, tea rooms and pubs, then walk through the square to reach the pretty Old Harbourside.

Further afield are many pretty villages in Dorset such as Abbotsbury where you can enjoy a walk around the Swannery and sub-tropical gardens and don’t forget to visit the children's farm. You are ideally placed for exploring the stunning Jurassic Coast which has been awarded World Heritage status.

Just a short stroll to Weymouth Harbour, Brewers Quay and Weymouth's golden sands and all that Dorset has to offer, whatever the weather.

This thriving area called Brewers Quay is the old Victorian brewery situated right at the very heart of the harbour, in Weymouth, Dorset. Much of the grade II listed complex and surrounding brewery buildings date from the late 1800 early 1900’s and many have stones inlaid commemorating their construction year. Now a popular destination with many restaurant’s café and bars making it a vibrant location where you can relax with a drink and watch the world go by. Tucked in the harbourside streets here you will find original Tudor harbour buildings estimated to have built 1600 and well worth a visit, with a very interesting history to share. You will also find the Weymouth Museum, with some incredible facts and artefacts, there is more to this seaside town than meets the eye. The harbour is home to the lifting bridge where you can watch the luxury yachts head out to sea, and then walk over the bridge into the town with it’s winding streets of boutique shops and onto the seafront Esplanade and beach. Brewers Quay is a much loved location in Weymouth.

However, and we would very respectively mention, our stay was spoiled due to the relatively cheap and uncomfortable mattresses - especially so the two single ones, which affected our sleep. The quality of the mattresses may not be such an issue for young people, but for the older generation, they just didn't provide the support and comfort you would like to expect in such a high-end holiday rental property. With regards the cleanliness ( which we realise the Owners' don't have any direct control over between changeovers ), whilst the house was generally clean, the oven was full of old grease, there were unwashed pans in the cupboards, light switches and surfaces were sticky as they hadn't been wiped down. We would welcome the Owners' feedback on our comments.

We were amazed how large and bright it is. There was everything you could possibly need to have a lovely holiday and it was a real home from home. Neither of us wanted to come home and said we could quite happily live there. Would recommend anyone to stay there. Parking space 5 minutes walk away is a real bonus as is being just a 5 minute walk to the town and harbour. We LOVED it

We had a lovely time with some nice days out and a good selection of places to eat. Found the parking too far away with luggage but managed street parking. I found the key safe tricky to operate, confused about the dishwasher tablets for the phantom dishwasher. Consider increasing the number of TV channels.
