Mincarlo is a lovely historic cottage directly on the Harbourside in Weymouth. Mincarlo marries wonderfully a contemporary interior with a picture postcard exterior. Set on the first floor, the lounge with its sweeping bay window has panoramic views into the harbour and also out to sea. Relax in the comfort of your armchair and watch the ever changing scene. Fishing boats and luxury yachts pass right in front of you to find their moorings or to pass under the old town bridge which lifts and falls to allow yachts to enter the inner marina. Here you have the perfect spot for whiling away time on holiday and relaxing. A short stroll along the harbourside will take you to all the restaurants, tea rooms and curios shops you could ask for. The main beach and town centre is within easy walking distance or you may choose to take the charming row boat ferry and cross the harbour to the beach directly. The main beach is about a 10 minute walk away.
Accommodation: Kitchen. Dining room. Bedroom 1, single bed. 1st floor: Bathroom, bath with shower over, hand basin and toilet. Lounge with bay window overlooking harbour. Cottage stairs (narrow tread and slightly steep stairs) to 2nd floor. Bedroom 2, twin single beds. Bedroom 3, double bed with en-suite shower, hand basin and toilet.

This is the second time we have stayed at Mincarlo and certainly not the first time we have used Dream cottages. We love this place as it is perfect for off season, central when the weather is bad so you can shop and get a take away on the way home and a great base for being out and about if the weather is good. An early gin and tonic sitting by the window watching the world go by is a great tonic in the winter months! The price is good and we love the dream cottage service, never intruding or in your face, simple and straight forward yet always there and willing to help if you ask. We have been using dream cottages regularly since 1998 ( we still have a copy of the 1998 brochure complete with hand sketches) and will continue to do so! Brilliant! Stayed March 2017
