Snaptrip says

Rupert Cottage is a well-regarded holiday rental in Weymouth, praised for its cleanliness, prime location near the harbour, and secure parking. Guests appreciate the well-equipped facilities and the comfortable furnishings, though some noted the need for blinds on skylights and updates to certain amenities. The property offers a cosy and convenient base for exploring the area.

Guests that stayed at this property said

The majority of guests found Rupert Cottage to be exceptionally clean, with several reviews highlighting its tidiness upon arrival. However, a few guests suggested that a deeper clean might be beneficial, and one noted the need for window cleaning.

The location is highly praised for being close to the harbour, restaurants, and pubs, with the convenience of being able to walk to local attractions. Some guests mentioned noise from nearby nightlife and neighbours, but this was not a common concern.

Guests generally found the cottage comfortable, with a good-sized bed and cosy living space. However, some guests mentioned that the living room furniture and main bedroom skylight could be improved for added comfort.

The cottage is well-equipped with a full kitchen, washer/dryer, and secure parking, which guests appreciated. Criticisms included the lack of blinds for skylights and minor issues with doors not opening easily due to new carpets. The presence of a hairdryer was a pleasant surprise for one guest.

While the reviews reflect a well-equipped cottage and mention of a welcome pack, there is insufficient information to determine the presence of gifts or special thoughtful touches consistently across the reviews. Therefore, a score cannot be provided.

The windows were filthy and had not been cleaned for a long time - perhaps due to being in the midst of a building site. The en suite bathroom had a damp odour and would benefit from some fresh air circulating. We did not use it. The allocated parking space had been taken by someone else when we arrived. The rubbish stored in the parking space, old tyres, planks of wood with nails protruding and general debris was tidied up during the week, but had not been completely removed. The view from the window into the courtyard at the front was of dustbins and building works.

Close to the harbour and shops with safe parking, a perfect position. The cottage is comfortably furnished with everything anyone would need for a perfect holiday, and spotless throughout, with a few welcoming homely touches, like tea, coffee and biscuits. Whenever we return to Weymouth we will certainly check if Rupert cottage is free.

It was perfectly situated close to the Harbour for all the cafes ,bars and restaurants. It was exceptionally clean and all the beds were comfortable. Having the stereo system was lovely and the living space and L shaped sofa made evenings in like a home from home. We enjoyed and have already booked again for next year! We highly recommend this little gem .
