About this property

67 Doncaster Road is a semi-detached property sitting in a popular position in Weymouth, Dorset. Enjoying sea views, off-road parking and a lawned garden, this inviting retreat provides a great base for families and their canine companion seeking a stay along Dorset’s fine coast. Spend your down time in the sitting room, chatting about the day’s adventures or tuning into the TV for your favourite shows. Head into the kitchen to rustle up a treat, using the electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge and freezer, whilst the dining room is perfect for mealtimes. Move upstairs and while away the hours with a leisurely soak in the bath, before making yourself comfortable in either of the bedrooms, offering two doubles and a single with sea views. Start your morning with a coffee before heading down to Chesil Beach, spanning across 19 miles of shingle and sandy terrain, or amble to Weymouth Harbour in the heart of the town, where you can sit and watch the boats come and go and see the historic bridge lifting. Pick up a portion of fish and chips and watch the many boats bob with the tide; there are a number of boat trips available from here, including Jurassic coast tours, fishing trips and speedboat rides. Enjoy some retail therapy with a number of shops to browse, or if you’re seeking something more active, the South West Coast Path is a superb way to explore the surroundings. Head to Dorchester, ten miles away, and explore a range of attractions including the Dorset Museum, the Dorset Teddy Bear Museum, National Trust - Max Gate, and the family favourite of Kingston Maurward Animal Park and Gardens. Tv didnt have a decent signal Shower on a string? Z bed was uncomfy as mattress so thin Back door broken, my son is a locksmith he repaired and reset as insecure Holes in walls had wires not blanked off Wires hanging under radiators loosely Mpuldy plums under the sofa, i pulled it out to remove a spider and found the fruit. The double bed a bit on the small side fot two in comfort but the extra single beds came in.handy Could not connect to the wifi and the tv signal kept fading(for the amount of time we were actually in it wasnt a real problem) shower awkward to use and could do with an outside light coming down the steps in the dark. A folder with all facilities and genersl information would be useful too, these are only minor niggles so a great place to be fair And apart from the stated great facilities and outside space too.
