The design of the sitting room and dining area, opening to the kitchen allows you to spend the maximum amount of time together. At the rear the enclosed sunny decked patio is the perfect place to relax and enjoy the sun at any time of the day while enjoying a refreshing drink. On a winter’s evening unwind in front of the open fire and cosy up with a book or watching a film. Upstairs you will find three bedrooms giving you ample space for your family.

A leisurely stroll from the property will take you to Sandsfoot castle and Sandsfoot beach (near the Sailing club) with plenty to discover at low tide, maybe even catch a few little crabs or fish while overturning the stones in the rockpools to see what you can find.

The Rodwell Trail is a flat walk which takes you towards the national sailing academy on Portland in one direction or Weymouth town center in the other and is easily accessible from the property. The picturesque old harbour is about a 15 minute walk away where you will find a wide choice of restaurants, pubs and cafes. Another five minutes’ stroll along the harborside and over the town bridge will take you to the town centre. Weymouth's award-winning beach is long and sandy with shallow waters which entices bathers. Traditional beach attractions such as donkey rides, fun fair and crazy golf await you to bring out your inner child.

With everything within easy walking distance you may find your car stays parked for the duration; if you want to explore the wonderful Dorset County you may enjoy driving the spectacular coast road with stunning views, stopping off en route at charming villages along the way.

Cove Castle is the locals favourite beach area, sitting along side the Rodwell trail area, Cove Castle Beach is usually uncrowded, and offers safe bathing from it’s gently sloping shoreline. CoveCastle and Sandsfoot beach sit side by side, both with soft golden sand and the vibe of the best kept secret. Sandsfoot castle is just two minutes’ walk from the beach where you will find castle ruins, pretty award-winning gardens and a small café, offering snacks, drinks and ice-creams. Accessed off Old Castle Road in Weymouth, this area is a real treat for those who want to be away from the buzz and bright lights of the traditional Weymouth Seafront, and yet close enough to venture there when they choose. When you are on the beach you could be forgiven for thinking you are miles from town, and yet you are only a 15-20 minute walk from the old Harbour and access to Weymouth town centre. If you want to know where the locals would recommend you spend your beach days, then Cove Castle and Sandsfoot beaches are it.
