Perfectly located for a seaside holiday, Beachside cottage is close to Bowleaze cove in Preston, Dorset with the beach a few seconds away from the front door. A small family or couples would benefit most from this holiday home.

With stunning coastal views from the properties own patio area it is literally a 20 second stroll to the beach. Beachside cottage is very bright and well equipped with quality fittings and linen. The large 1st floor balcony has panoramic views of the coast stretching from Portland to Lulworth and beyond. The twinkling evening lights from the stars and boats cast a magical ambience across the bay.

Located directly next door to Jurassic Coast Activities, you can arrange a host of water sports and activities including Kayaking, windsurfing, kitesurfing and paddle boarding or perhaps you would prefer to observe, with excellent views from the balcony or living room. You can also hire a cycle and discover the area with a bike.

A lively level ten minute walk from the cottage is Lodmoor Country Park, where you will find the Sea Life centre, Go Karts, Sandworld, Pirate mini golf as well as the Lodmoor Nature Reserve. Keep walking down the seafront and along the Esplanade for a further 20 minutes to arrive in the centre of Weymouth town.

The local convenience store and The Spyglass Inn (the local Harvester) are around a minute walk away and the Oasis Cafe is just a few steps away serving snacks, meals and good coffee. Ideally located for for day trips to local beauty spots along the South Dorset coast, or to popular attractions such as Monkey World, Lulworth Cove, Durdle Door and The Tank Museum gives you further options during your stay.

Sleeping up to 4 people, Beachside Cottage is an ideal getaway for couples or a small family. If you want a holiday property on the beach close enough to walk to Weymouth and still be away from all hustle and bustle from the centre then Beachside Cottage is for you.

Bowleaze is just behind Bowleaze Cove that is seated at the end of Weymouth’s long 3-mile beach front perched on the edge of Preston. A small sand and shingle beach is a popular choice for those who like to use Jet Ski’s as it’s one of the few areas on the beach front they can be used freely. A popular area of Weymouth offering beautiful views back towards Weymouth and Portland whilst only being a short distance from the main beach and town centre. There are many places to eat and you can join the south west coast path towards Osmington Mills, Ringstead and beyond from here. Predominantly a residential area, it’s perfect those who want to escape to the seaside but retain the tranquillity of a residential area.

Car parking is either on road parking or by taking advantage of Beachside's car parking permit giving use of the local car park (valid March - November only) less than two and a half minutes’ walk from Beachside, this parking permit also gives free access to eight other car parks in the Weymouth and Portland area.
