For an insight into the region’s marine history pay a visit to Lyme Regis Marine Aquarium and Dinosaurland Fossil Museum. Some great walks to try nearby include Langdon Hill, Golden Cap, Timber Hill Woods and pretty much anywhere along the South West Coastal Path where you will be rewarded with some simply outstanding views. Jump in the car for days out to attractions such as Pecorama, Axe Valley Wildlife Park, Abbotsbury Subtropical Gardens and Tunnel Tree Tops. For a seaside holiday to remember, book a visit to Seaside.

The delightful seaside town of Lyme Regis has much to offer its visitors, boasting a maze of narrow streets filled with craft and antique shops, galleries and cafes. Take a stroll along the world-famous Cobb causeway overlooking the ancient harbour, where fishing trips can be enjoyed, or try your hand at fossil hunting in the area. The scenic coastal path offers excellent walking opportunities and spectacular views of the stunning Jurassic coast, whilst the gently shelving sands and sparkling waters of Lyme Bay provide the perfect place in which to relax and unwind. A holiday destination to savour!

My only criticism is that it smells very damp and musty. I have washed all our clothes since returning home but unfortunately the musty smell still remains in everything that we took with us.

Unfortunately the cleanliness wasn’t at its best as when booking it said no pets but we found dog hair on the bedding and on the kitchen work too after a good vacuuming it was all sorted, fortunately none of my family has pet allergies. Apart from that we had a lovely relaxed stay and would rebook in the future
