The local area of Lyme Regis is simply fantastic, with a huge array of beaches at your disposal, beginning with a walk through the picturesque Cobb Harbour and Lyme Regis Beach, where you can marvel at beautiful boats bobbing in the harbour before heading down to Monmouth Beach and Lyme Regis Fossil Beach where you can enjoy the seaside views along the rocky shores and towering cliffs, trying out watersports or fossil hunting as you go. The town centre also offers two museums, Lyme Regis Marine Aquarium and ornamental gardens for you to enjoy at your leisure, or you can head further afield to local historical sites such as Cannington Viaduct. Many eateries and small shops can be found within the town centre so why not check out the local art and produce before ending the day in a pub with a glass of your favourite beverage?
