About this property

A refurbished stone front house built in the 1920’s and offering seaside views. With a wonderful living space and close to the bustling town centre of Lyme Regis, Dorset, Greystones is perfect for a family or group pf adults. Utilise the handy off-road parking, unpacking with ease before making your way into the spacious sitting/dining room where you will be drawn to recline in the selection of leather sofas, noticing the large windows letting in seas of lights and bay views, and the dining table is a great place for all guests to enjoy social mealtimes. A kitchen with wooden cupboards and ample amenities will inspire any budding chef to create a heart-warming meal made from local produce. As the evening wears on, enjoy a refreshing shower in the contemporary shower-room on the ground-floor or a soak amongst the bubbles in the bathroom before settling down for the night in one of the four bedrooms available. Firstly, you will find a king-size bedroom on the ground-floor, with an ornamental fireplace and décor with hints of the seaside, a second king-size can be found on the first floor with a view across the town, stylish furnishings and storage, and finally there are two twin rooms with zip-links, so they can be set up as a king-size on request, featuring quirky green décor and storage. Outside you will find a superb lawn area where you will be able to enjoy a coffee before heading out to explore the local area. Lyme Regis is a fantastic seaside resort all year round, with so many activities to keep you occupied, beginning with the town centre itself, where you will find many shops selling home made produce, artwork and crafts and when mealtimes call, you will not be disappointed by the variety of eateries available. Take a walk through the beautiful Langmoor and Lister Gardens before visiting either Lyme Regis marine Aquarium or one of the two museums available. You can’t visit the Jurassic coast without spending some time on the wonderful beaches on offer, beginning with Monmouth Beach and Lyme Regis Fossil Beach where you will be able to enjoy a stroll in the salty air before searching for fossils. Explore the wonders of the Jurassic coast with a stay at Greystones.

The delightful seaside town of Lyme Regis has much to offer its visitors, boasting a maze of narrow streets filled with craft and antique shops, galleries and cafes. Take a stroll along the world-famous Cobb causeway overlooking the ancient harbour, where fishing trips can be enjoyed, or try your hand at fossil hunting in the area. The scenic coastal path offers excellent walking opportunities and spectacular views of the stunning Jurassic coast, whilst the gently shelving sands and sparkling waters of Lyme Bay provide the perfect place in which to relax and unwind. A holiday destination to savour!

Very well equipped and with easy parking. Very much felt like a home away from home! Would stay again and highly recommend.

4 good sized bedrooms - one on the ground floor with bathroom alongside, which was great for grandad. Views from the sitting room window were spectacular. Lyme Regis is a fantastic holiday destination with lots to enjoy. It is quite hilly/steep with some narrow roads and pavements, which might be challenging for some. Our grandad was 87 and managed really well, and will go home a little fitter!
